I have a woocommerce store setup in Saudi riyals.
The payment gateway is called PayFast and they have advised that they don’t support Riyals.
So we have an option of using a currency they do support which is South African rands.
I’ve asked my client to resubmit all his pricing in Rands because currently you get an error message trying to checkout with Riyals setup in the woocommerce currency settings menu.
In response, he sent me this multi currency plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/currencyconverter/
Now I’m confused, will this plugin allow the site to switch to riyals and also checkout in riyals?
Or do I still need to change the store’s pricing and the woocommerce currency to South African rands?
I feel like the bottom line is PayFast only supports Rands so that’s what you have at the end of the day but the plugin now is causing doubt and I don’t want to charge the client and implement it and then go back and say it’s still not checking out in Riyals.
Please clarify for me, will this plugin allow the site to switch to riyals and also checkout in riyals?
Thank you.
