Thank you for reaching out! By default, as long as your affiliates refer users via their referral link, even if you run a promotion, they will be rewarded a commission. The commission will however be calculated from the discounted amount the customer pays.
If you want to just rely on a single general sale coupon, without any referral links in the mix, then I’m afraid that there’s not much that can be done. In this case there would be no way of tracking which affiliate referred the sale.
However, with our affiliate coupons add-on, you can set up a coupon code for each one of your affiliates and have them promote their coupon. This way, the coupon is used for tracking, instead of the referral link.
