Can you remove the HOME link from nav without removing the page?

I have the landing page that is HOME and would like to remove the link from the menu, not the page. Is it possible? I tried

nav-item:nth-of-type( 1 ){

display:none}

But, clearly, it didn’t work. Any suggestion from this awesome community?
