On Saturday I decided to get my wordpress site started. I paid for the premium plan and bought my domain through wordpress. I found out I wont be able to use any plugins until I upgrade to the “Business” plan which kinda pissed me off. Secondly, I was just having trouble figuring everything out so I was thinking of maybe switching to something else.
I decided to go ahead and cancel my domain and plan to get a full refund before the 96 hours had passed. I’m trying to setup my domain now on hostgator and it’s telling it’s unavailable. I was trying to get in contact with wordpress support but it seems that once you cancel your plan the only option they offer is to post on the support forums, which I did. I’m not getting any replies to my post on the forum asking about my question so I decided to just stop by here and ask for some help or information.
My main question is when will I be able to setup my domain that I bought with wordpress after cancelling it? Is there some sort of time period I need to wait or am I stuck just transferring the domain now? Thank you!
