can’t access my dashboard

[ad_1]

Hi, i went on to my wordpress admin section for a website and downloaded a new plugin. After this plugin was downloaded the site crashed and i get the message:

Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 7.2.0”

I can’t access the admin page to remove the plugin which caused this, any ideas?

Thanks

  1. Did you activate the plug-in? First guess would be that it was crappy/Not maintained and broke your site. If it’s that’s the cause you can try to go through ftp or your hosting file manager into the plug-in folder and delete the folder with the corresponding plug-in name.

If it’s already a page in production, it would be worth a shot contacting your hosting provider to see if they have a backup and can reset your page to before.

Is it an old page? PHP 7.2 is quite dusty.

  2. If you have a FTP access, i advise you to go to the “plugin” directory of your site and rename the root folder of the plugin that caused this error.
