New to WordPress. I’m following a tutorial and I heard the OceanWP theme was good so I went to Settings > Appearance > Themes to download it. It is not showing up when I search for it. It’s like it doesn’t exist. I have no idea what is the problem and it makes no sense to me why it is not showing up. I also tried downloading it from a 3rd-party (their website) to install a custom theme (“Install theme” on the top right) but it isn’t working, I think I need to upgrade plans. Please help, this should be really simple but I’m stumped!

You’re using [Wordpress.com]), not WordPress. They’re different.
[Wordpress.com]) is crippleware. Unless you’re paying for a plan, you can’t install themes and plugins.
WordPress has no limitations.
edit: Wait… does OceanWP have a free version in the [wordpress.org]) library?
