Can’t Update Certain Plugins “This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.”

[ad_1]

Hi all, I have a website that I haven’t updated the plugins in maybe half a year. I tried updating them and some error out with “Update failed: The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.”. Some updated fine. I checked the permissions on the plugins and upgrade folders and everything is set to 755. Another strange part is that some updates that didn’t go through yesterday with that message, all of a sudden updated today. The plugins are primarily gravity form related ones along with general ones like GTranslate and WPCode Lite. The site is hosted on Godaddy. PHP is on the older side, 7.3 I believe and WordPress is 6.1.5. Honestly don’t know what might be causing this.
