Categories for blog posts

[ad_1]

I have a new website that I used to developer to create. I don’t want to reach back out to them as it will cost me. So just save money. I need to fix this issue myself. All of my blog posts are showing up under each page. For example, under the books page I want only my book reviews. However, all of my blogs, travel, mindfulness, etc. are showing. I’ve tried fixing this myself and making sure the categories are correct under each blog, but it still does not fix it. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

  1. Do you know how the posts are being generated on your pages? With a plugin or a custom WP_Query for example?

  2. Your books page needs to be an archive of your book review category. It’s going to be very hard to explain to a newbie how to fix this. Best to hire someone. It’s a simple fix that should take a dev 15-30 minutes at best, or a few hours at most. I’ll do it for free if you pm me. And I’ll screen record the explanation as I do it.

  3. Are you using Twenty Twenty Four? If so it’s probably in the header or footer template. Go to Edit site under appearance and find the template or template part that has the query block and remove it.
