When making a post on my site suddenly categories is no longer there i have….
status & visibility
revisions
permalinks
excerpt
discussions
For now, i have to publish my post, go to the main posts page and do a quick edit to add it to the category of my choice, how to do i get this section back?

While editing or creating a new post click on Screen Options on the top right. Is the Categories checkbox checked?
