Challenge: How to make a waitlist form landing page with a password to access the website underneath ($10 PayPal)

[ad_1]

The idea is people would subscribe to the waitlist and when the time is right a password gets sent to them to access the website all at once. The password is to be entered on the same page as the waitlist form, right under it.

I’ve tried “password protected” plugin but there is no easy way to add a wp form underneath the site password, or not to my knowledge.

How would you guys tackle this? Whoever gives me a working way to do this first I’ll send 10 bucks.

Good luck!

  1. I’d change the home page of the site to just a new page, completely empty, with just a section in the middle for your logo and a form embed. Personally, I swear by Gravity Forms.

On the form, I’d enable conditional logic so that it can only be submitted if the right word or phrase is input into a corresponding text field. I wouldn’t add any other fields to this form, just the one single line text field and the submit button (with the appropriate conditional logic applied).

Finally, I’d have the form’s confirmation be a redirect link to the actual, accessible website.

Edit: As for collecting people’s information on the waitlist/ distributing the password, I’d probably just use Gravity Forms again and connect it to Mailchimp.
