Change fonts for blog post editor in wp-admin?

[ad_1]

I’ve tried searching all over (including previous posts here) and can’t find the answer.

For some reason, it seems as if the fonts that show on the blog editor change. Not on the front end, I am strictly talking about when I am writing posts or pages in the wp-admin back end.

A few versions ago, the titles appeared in a bolder, sans-serif font. I don’t remember what font the body of the page used. Now, my titles all appear in Times New Roman (guessing that’s the default serif font) in a larger, bolder size, and the body of the posts appear in “regular” Times New Roman at a “normal” size.

Any way to change these? Even though I’m the only one seeing them this way and I understand WP is probably doing it to save loading time… it would really be more helpful if I could change the fonts. Ideally, I’d love to see my posts as close as possible to how they’ll look on the front end.

FWIW, I am using Oxygen Builder, which completely overrides the WordPress theme system… so any solutions that involve editing a theme or using a child theme would not work in this case.

When I use the inspector to check the CSS, it indicates the correct font (Roboto) is specified, so it looks like wp-admin might be ignoring Google Fonts for some reason, and just defaulting to the fallback browser default font. But I am not sure why it would do this or how to fix it.
