Change the upload date to cratered date by MLA?

Thanks for your question. You can work with the image “date created” in a couple of different ways. First, you can create a WordPress custom field to add these values to the database where they can be queried. Second, you can change the WordPress “Uploaded on” date using MLA’s Quick Edit, Bulk Edit or IPTC/EXIF mapping rule features. The Quick Edit and Bulk Edit options are straightforward. The mapping rule approach is discussed in this earlier topic:

Map timestamp to WordPress Date | WordPress.org

That topic uses the WordPress ceated_timestamp value, but you can use anything you have available in the IPTC, EXIF or XMP metadata, e.g., the EXIF DateTimeOriginal value. The mapping rule can be applied to new items as they are uploaded to the Media Library.

I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have problems or further questions regarding the MLA features or the solution in the earlier topic. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
