Has anyone who hosts on cloudways successfully changed the /wp-admin login to something else and updated it in cloudways as well?
Cloudways support says that if I add a new user & password to wordpress, I cant go back into cloudways and add the new user there with the new password without updating the database files. In cloudways there is no option to add a different username for my website or change the admin panel, but theres a pencil icon next to the password. That helps a little but my main focus is changing the /wp-admin.
Doing this to stop people/bots trying to login with mydomain.com/wp-admin. Any other advice how to do this and have it update in cloudways? Should I not even change it in cloudways and only change it in wordpress?

Plenty of plugins that do this, WPS hide login, Wordfence, etc.
Doesn’t seem to completely block brute force attempts though, somehow the bots will find a login URL, but I use Wordfence to immediately block any invalid usernames as well.
