I’m looking for some confirmation either way on something here if that’s okay. From the research I have done, there is no need to create a child theme if all you are doing with a theme is modifying it in the customize panel and/or adding your own customizations with Elementor. You only create a child theme if you are going into the files themselves and modifying the underlying code. Is this the case?
Or alternatively, is it perhaps best practice to create a child theme from the start, even if just to err on the side of caution?
