Chrome desktop blurring images like they’re spoilers

Hi everyone! I’m having a problem where only SOME of the images on just this site specifically are getting blurred out completely (image attached). And when I click the post, the featured image doesn’t load at all. I have tried to troubleshoot it a bit and here is what I have learned:

1. This only started happening on Monday
2. This only happens on Chrome desktop, whether I am in incognito mode or logged in/out of WordPress
3. The images that don’t work are almost identical, file-wise, to the ones that do work
4. No one else seems to be having this issue

If anyone has any ideas about what else I can investigate, or if you’ve seen this before, I would be super grateful. It is driving me insane!
