I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I am a little lost. Are there any good recommendations for free themes out there? When I use google, I have a feeling they are paid bloggers, given the “Free” ones are all really links to paid ones.
We want to showcase our community, so looking for one with a nice large header picture with text overlay.

I build sites for community associations. Be aware a theme is mostly style and is not going to provide the underlying features most associations will need, including online member management.
