Compatibility Issues Between GeoDirectory and WP OpenStreetMap Plugins

[ad_1]

Dear Support Team,

I am currently using both (but for different uses) the GeoDirectory and WP OpenStreetMap plugins on my WordPress site to create maps within my articles. While I hadn’t used WP OpenStreetMap in the past few days, focusing instead on other aspects of the site, particularly GeoDirectory, I have run into a compatibility issue.

In the front-end, everything appears to be working fine; existing WP OpenStreetMap maps display and function as expected. However, in the back-end, I am unable to make any changes, add markers, or even display the map. It seems to be a JavaScript issue.

To get WP OpenStreetMap working again, I have to deactivate both GeoDirectory and WP Users. While this is feasible during the development phase, it’s not an option for the live site.

I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating all plugins multiple times and have identified GeoDirectory and WP Users as the culprits. Unfortunately, I haven’t found anything noteworthy in the server logs.

For additional context, I’ve encountered the following JavaScript errors in the Chrome console, specifically related to ‘InnerBlocks’. These errors do not appear when GeoDirectory and WP Users are deactivated:

jQuery.Deferred exception: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'InnerBlocks') TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'InnerBlocks')

The error seems to loop, appearing 20 times, followed by:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'InnerBlocks')

Both GeoDirectory and WP OpenStreetMap are essential for my project, so any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

ALEX
