Connect STMP, WordPress and Outlook

Hello hello,

I've just created a new website for a client. We had a few problems because of the hosts, but everything looks pretty ok now.

The problem was that the client didn't want the email service, so it's still on the old host apparently, I'm not a pro in this.

The client uses Microsoft Outlook, and don't want to pay the yearly subscription to the plugin only for that.

My solution was to create a separate email in my own host, and redirect it to one of their emails, plain and simple. Is this viable or are there better (FREE) solutions?
