Converting React Code to a WordPress Template

[ad_1]

This is a crosspost with r/react to try to find the best answers

Hello, I am a non-technical project manager and our web developer coded out a custom website to create a survey for us on our site. This was the only aspect of the site that isn't easily recreatable in a standard custom issue WordPress template.

We currently need to contact this developer each time we need to change a typo or add a blog post for the whole site and they're notoriously very slow on response time – often no-showing to meetings and historically weeks behind deadlines – our website launch was pushed back two months on timeline. We don't have much runway left and can't afford to be that far behind on solutions.

We have asked that developer to host the custom code on a subdomain and then convert our normal pages (About Us, Blog, Contact Us, Home) to a WordPress template so we can all make edits without being so far behind schedule…. are there any tools anyone is aware of that can do the conversion or assist so it's not so time-consuming?

Any other tips on how to tackle that change without breaking the bank are also much appreciated… nobody on the team can code. Happy to answer any info required to find the best solution. The developer said they'd look into it as well but I wanted some outside opinions that aren't biased.
