My friend wraps up her PhD this month and I want to create a website where people can 1) donate to her travel fund for the summer (via PayPal link) and 2) leave a congratulatory note/message on the website for my friend to view. Is there a specific feature or widget on WordPress that will allow me to do this?
I know how to set up a PayPal donation link or widget on a website, but if possible, it would be nice to allow people to submit a message and have that message automatically post to the website and have a bit more flexibility on how to organize these notes than if I were to just make it a “comments” section.
I suppose I can have everyone submit their messages to me and then I can go in and add them manually to a webpage so that I have more customizability, but if there’s a way to collect all these notes directly on WordPress, sort of like if someone were writing their own blog post, that would be great.
