Creating an image slider that constantly slides

This is driving me BONKERS. I swear I’ve tried everything, I’m losing my mind, hopefully someone can help, I’ll try my best to describe what I want below;

It is a photography website, wanting on the homepage a gallery slider, portrait images, probably 15+, I want it the full width of the page and responsive, set height so the images stay in the same portrait ratio i.e. 6:4, and for it to constantly, slowly, scroll through the images, so it’s always moving, slowly cycling through the images.

I’ve downloaded so many plugins now only to work on it and then find it doesn’t work. I’ve wasted so much time!
I’ve tried elementors media carousel, with auto play on 600 which is a good speed, but it’s sticky, like it’s slide to new photo, pause, next photo, pause, I want a constant, smooth moving of the images.
It also only allows me to set the width, which is not responsive, and also number of slides visible, so if I set it to 5, and someone makes their window huge, the images crop to fit 5 to the screen (so changes the ratio to like 2:7), if someone was to make their window small, the images would be so thin you wouldn’t be able to see the image (ie. changing the radio to 7:1).

I hope this makes sense, so hard to describe something visual! Any help would be so, so appreciated I’m losing my mind!
