Thanks for posting your message. The PHP code is just fine, but most configuration settings are cached in the PHP Session, and so you may not be able to see the new settings applied immediately to the front-end.
In order to flush the PHP Session it is sufficient to log out and log back into your wp-admin section. Alternatively, you can just open your website with a new private/incognito session and that would do the trick.
As long as the Configuration page shows the proper currency, the rest of the pages of Vik Booking, front-end and back-end, will apply the proper value.
