I’ve created a custom post type (along with custom categories and tags taxonomies) for my podcast episodes. Note… I’m using Podcast Importer Pro plugin by Second Line to automatically import the podcasts from my RSS feed to this specific post type.
The issue I’m running into is that the posts within this CPT don’t have any slugs. I can’t seem to view the posts at all. There’s not even a “View” option when you hover over the posts. I swear, at one point, I had this option and could view the posts… then it seemed to disappear, but I could still view the posts by dropping in their permalink. Now, it’s like the post pages themselves don’t exist, though I’m able to display them on pages. When hovering on the thumbnails/read more links, it shows what should be the correct URL, but clicking on it gives a 404 error (forwards to homepage).
I also just noticed that my SEO plugin doesn’t even register it as a post type. Something is funky. I’ve created CPTs using Pods before and never encountered this… I even have a different CPT on this site that’s working just fine. What can I do to troubleshoot?
