Hello,
Let’s see if I understand this correctly :
If you go to WooRewards → Appearance → Emails, the “New Reward” email is set to “Enabled”
If you go to WooRewards → Settings and edit the coupon reward, there is also the “Send Reward email” checked ?
One question. When customers have enough points to get a coupon, is the coupon generated and points consumed ?
Hi, thank you for your quick response, great support. Yes I had it all checked – however, the “problem” probably wasn’t in the shipping just the lack of checking the “create an account” option during the ordering process, if the customer doesn’t check it during the ordering process or isn’t logged in then they don’t receive the email with the discount – there is some logic to it, however I wonder if we can send the customer such an email with the voucher without checking the “create an account” option during order process?
Regards
Points can only be given to registered customers (we attach the points to the user account). If we can’t credit points to the user, we can’t generate a reward either.
However, if a customer has an account but is not logged in, we check the email address when an order is placed and try to find the customer linked to this address to credit points if possible.
Either way, customers need to have an account to engage in the loyalty program
