Hi @drewblu,
You can certainly update the customer’s email address for the specific order. Here’s how:
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders and find the order in question.
- Click on the order number or the “Edit” button to open the order details.
- In the “Billing details” section, find the “Email address” field and correct the customer’s email address.
- Click “Update” to save the changes.
The customer will now receive all future notifications related to this order, including the Order Dispatch Email with the tracking link.

Alternatively, you can update the customer’s email address by editing their details at Users > All users. Find the customer and update their information.
In addition, I would like to recommend the WooCommerce Email Customizer extension. This plugin allows you to customize your emails with a beautiful and intuitive drag-and-drop builder, ensuring your customers always get professionally designed, informative emails.
Please don’t hesitate to ask if you need further assistance or have any questions.
Hi Shameem, thank you for the quick response, for some reason the edit button was only showing on the Shipping Details, not the Billing Details (with the email address) on the desktop computer at work, now I am on my IPad at home and it is showing now. Really appreciate it.
