After the recent twenty twenty three theme update, the Customize menu item has disappeared.
The Twenty Twenty-Three theme is NOT an update of the Twenty Twenty-One or even Twenty Twenty-Two theme. Every new default theme is a completely different theme built from the ground up, and may have features its predecessors do not have.
And TT3 (as well as its predecessor TT2) is a completely different type of theme, compared to TT1.
TT2 and TT3 are full-site editing (FSE) themes. FSE themes are a new kind of WordPress themes that allow users to design the entire website without writing code — and without using 3rd-party page builders like Elementor.
I think this is a problem with the theme.
No, that is by design.
FSE themes do not have the Customizer or the traditional Menu builder, among others. Instead, FSE themes like the default TT2 and TT3, and a whole lot of 3rd-party FSE themes, have the Site Editor (Beta) menu under APPEARANCE for customizing the entire website.
Georg, thanks for your reply!
I was there. And there is no favicon setting))
I already figured out how to enter this menu, I just use a link like
It’s just that the developers need to return “Customize” to the Menu.
