Database overhead. | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi there,

I have the ‘scheduled database maintenance’ toggle turned on, but the ManageWP dashboard is still reporting I have 1.3MB overhead, for several weeks now. 1.3MB is not a lot, but it (ManageWP) goes on to offer me the option of optimising the database. My concern is if it will delete something it shouldn’t, as I’m assuming SG Optimiser has already optimised my database properly, or has it?

I have gone in to phpMyAdmin and see nothing in the overhead column, so I’m guessing ManageWP is displaying false info, unless SG Optimiser is not optimising properly, and phpMyAdmin is lying about there being no overhead.

I know this is a very small number right now, but my thinking is if you ignore little problems like this long enough they become big problems.
