I put a site live on Godady and broke some of the website elements badly within 24 hours. At this point would probably be easier to restore a backup… So I have questions:
* Can I follow the same steps I did (as described below) or should I go about it another way?
* Do I need to delete the pages, posts, and plugins that I setup how I wanted after the initial upload of the site?
* Anything else important I need to make sure to do, to have it be like a freshly uploaded website?
* Lastly are there technical terms/industy terminology for deploying a site from local to a live site? or for re-deploy a backup like I’m trying to?
Background of how I uploaded originally if it helps.
I made a simple brochure website with no database, on LocalWP, exported it to a file, and then tried to use AIO site migration plugin to put migrate it to the domain name. AIO got stuck at 33% so I downloaded WordPress file manager Plugin. Then put my WordPress site file into the file manager and hit “Restore from backup” on AIO.
I know godaddy is awful, but its what the person wanted. Thank you again, and sorry if I used poor terminology.

“*I made a simple brochure website with no database, on LocalWP,*” – if it was a WordPress site, it has a database.
All backups plugins work differently. Consult the documentation for how to restore, or watch a YT video – there’s tons of info on this stuff.
Restoring from a backup will delete all files and the DB of the destination site.
