I’m working on setting up a shop with WooCommerce, but the upcoming [AI deal](https://www.engadget.com/tumblr-and-wordpress-posts-will-reportedly-be-used-for-openai-and-midjourney-training-204425798.html) has me worried.
Unlike Jetpack, Automattic’s [privacy policy](https://automattic.com/privacy/) doesn’t seem to apply to WC (WC itself isn’t listed, only Woo’s website and plugins). But what about plugins like Stripe, that aren’t Woo-branded but are Woo-developed?
Really hoping I’m wrong in being anxious.
Simple fix: Don’t use WordPress.com
