I started a website a few years ago for a business I had started. After tinkering with different templates I decided to hire someone from fiverr. The site was amazing and worked great except every couple of months I’d need to send a few bucks so they could update it. It would be back up moments after sending money.
Fast forward a few years and I’m no longer in that business. I didn’t think much of it since the site was down and I wasn’t updating anymore. I guess WordPress attempted to charge my card on file and it went through. I noticed the bill in my bank statement. I decided to go on WordPress and thought I could still use the site for something else and I’d just make this a landing page for my next idea. (I already spent the money on domain registration and a year of hosting.
The weird part is whenever I logged into WordPress my original templates were still there, but when I went to the actual url, it was a totally different site. This is over my head how what I see on WordPress is different than the webpage. I sent an email asking to remove their credentials but if someone could explain to me how I can go back to one of my templates, I’d certainly be grateful.

You appear to be asking about a WordPress site hosted on [WordPress.com](https://WordPress.com) and not specifically about a [WordPress.org](https://WordPress.org) based app hosted on a different hosting site. Is this true? If so, you may be asking your question on the wrong site.
