The notification messages not only contain information about new features that you could find useful, but also important information such as conflicts with other plugins or quota warnings.
We are working on some solution to be able to disable the messages for certain users, but for now you can always dismiss the messages or use a plugin like (not recommended though, you may miss important warnings).
