disadvantage using Google fonts locally (child theme)

i wanted to ask if there’s any disadvantage or a problem in hosting the Google fonts in the theme fonts folder (child theme). basiclly it’s a bit resky to use google fonts in germany unlocally so i decided why not to put them in the fonts folder.

also as somone who’s trying to be less depending on third party plugins\\themes and third party page builders as much as my skills allows me, i thought it’s a brilliant idea.
