For Google Analytics and Googe Tag Manager, you can block the scripts from running until the site visitor gives consent for them. It cannot set cookies and connect to Google servers without getting scripts running.
To implement it, go to the GDPR Cookie Consent > Cookie Category > Analytics > Edit, and on the opening page, you will find a script section. Copy the GA or GTM scripts there. The GA cookies are supposed to be present in the Analytics category as you finish cookie scanning and adding the cookies to the cookie list on your site. So this will block the script until the site visitor gives consent for the Analytics category.
You may also give Google’s privacy policy link in the cookie description of Google cookies. You can edit the cookies from the cookie list of the plugin.
