Hello,
Thanks for your message. Our plugin VikBooking notifies the administrators/property managers in several ways whenever there is a new reservation.
For the email notifications, the first thing to check is the reservation status. In fact, from the Configuration settings in VikBooking you can choose to be notified via email only when the status becomes “Confirmed”, hence the reservation gets paid, or also when the status is “Pending”. On top of that, thanks to the Conditional Textx feature, you may also notify additional email addresses depending on the type of listing/room that was booked.
We would like to add that email messages are not the only type of notifications. In fact, VikBooking supports Browser Notifications, and the upcoming updates will introduce Push Notifications and WebApp support for specific operating systems and for those who use our Channel Manager service E4jConnect together with VikBooking.
You can enable and subscribe to Browser (Web) Notifications by clicking the bell icon in the Multitask panel or in the page Dashboard when customizing the admin widgets.
We hope this helps!
