If you are going to keep those two options, at least open the post up to discussion and comments. You mention getting feedback but why hide it? If you open the post up to discussion, I feel confident you will get some feedback, perhaps of the more tangible and substantive kind. I strongly believe feedback should be civil but surely you understand people's frustration at your little antics with this poll.
Mods, sometimes things don't go how you expect them to. Matt expected this whole issue to blow up in WPE's face and that everyone would rally around him and leave WPE in droves. Similarly, y'all expected this whole sub to blow up in our faces and that chaos would reign supreme for a week so that we would beg you to moderate us.
It's ok to be wrong. However, to then just decide you would rule with an iron fist anyway, that's kind of pathetic.
If you don’t like it start a new sub? Some of us are tired of the drama dominating the subreddit.
Edit: lmao okay. Downvotes but no discussion. For example there are currently three separate posts of the same themeco statement. Why do we need all three when it’s all talking about the same thing?
