This plugin supports all WordPress releases from 4.4 up to the upcoming 6.4 release.
What are you trying to accomplish and what part of that doesn‘t work?
It sounds like maybe the plugin is not doing what you think it does. The plugin is supposed to prevent others from embedding your own posts, and prevents you from embedding other WordPress posts. It does not disable YouTube embeds or anything like that.
You’re absolutely correct, that is exactly what I was trying to do. After mistakenly testing the plugin with a youtube url my first thought was that the plugin wasn’t working.
Your plugin is exactly what I need to stop the wp auto embeds in my site.
I only need to find a way to do the same with all other places like Youtube, Twitter, the rest. I guess I am now half way there.
