Does not work with Kadence blocks any more

Can you provide me with a bit more information about the issue you are seeing. Block Visibility does not hide blocks in the Editor, so I am a bit confused.

Hi, I was using the “Block Manager” feature of Block Visibility. I thought this allows me to disable some blocks and hide them from the editor.

Ah I see. No, the Block Manager just allows you to determine which blocks can get visibility controls.
