You likely won’t have to change the Complianz’ implementation itself, as you should be able to add upon the already existing Matomo script, by adding the code of the Heartbeat script in the Script Center (Complianz > Integrations > Script Center > Add a third-party script).
So, on my test environment I fire the Matomo script (via the Complianz Wizard) and with the below configuration in the Script Center I have additionally added that heartbeat script, which fires on Statistics consent.
