My Elementor Pro license is expiring in a month. Elementor has caused me nothing but frustration. I frequently get Elementor editor crashes due to some elementor widget plug-in causing a conflict, and it is so sloooooow. I'm also tired of having to download yet another plug-in to style things in Woo that elementor can't seem to reach.
All of my sites are my own. I have two magazine-style sites, a personal blog, a photography club with bbpress, and two small e-commerce sites with Woo.
I'm looking at Oxygen and Blocksy with Stackable. I looked at Divi, but the consensus on Reddit seems to be that it is outdated and won't be updated until next year, which doesn't help me today.
Oxygen seems to have the best pricing model for my needs, but I'm tired of ripping the money-back-guarantee cord.
If you know what you are doing, you don’t even need Elementor Pro. Elementor free is enough to build any sites from small to large scale, any sites you can imagine.
Yeah, I don’t think your problem is Elementor but rather downloading a plugin for everything when you could probably do it inside Elementor. Regardless it might be best to start fresh. Bricks is a very popular choice right now, they have a demo on their site where you can try it out and see if you like it.

Oxygen is ok, but you should checkout Bricks builder far better.
If you want to go the Gutenberg route Blocksy is a good theme but it does not have its own blocks. Instead I would try Spectra theme with the Spectra pro blocks.
I’d choose Bricks over Oxygen. Oxygens future seems up in the air as the team is focused more on Breakdance
