Hope someone can help.
Following a server outage/upgrade by my webhost (A2) a few days ago, that may or not be related to this issue, the emojis in my forum are no longer displaying or saving to the database. All I see is ‘??’ for 99% of emojis.
My native wordpress pages/posts *do* display all emojis correctly (as here), but my forum posts (using Wpforo plugin) do not (as here).
I logged a ticket with my web host support, who blame the plugin.
I logged a ticket with the plugin support team (who are excellent) and they blame the web host (this issue seems to affect only 1 other plugin user, out of thousands).
I have googled for solutions, without any luck. So I am thinking, it’s either :
1) A restrictive Litespeed server parameter
2) Plugin code needs an edit to allow for Litespeed.
Is anyone able to shed any light (Lite?) on this ?
