I’m curious what methods some of you might be using to accomplish the following as simply as possible:
– offer a free download (such as ebook)
– offer this without requiring an account or checkout system.
– and possibly capture email (ideally double opt in where free download is sent to their email)
Woocommerce and Easy digital downloads requires a user to go through the checkout system and this can’t be avoided to my knowledge.
MailChimp accomplishes all of this beautifully but requires a paid account to pull off.
What do you use? Thoughts? Suggestions?
