Failed Plugin Update Stops Other Updates from Working Since 6.5

Ever since version 6.5, any time I go to the plugins screen and try a plugin update, if that update fails for some reason then any other subsequent plugin update I try fails as well. I have to refresh the page and try again. What the heck is the reason for this and does anybody have a fix?
