Hi,
Can you all recommend a fast, light weight and minimal blogging theme? I had bad performance issues with WordPress sites in the past when using Elementor, so I’m looking for the fastest most stripped down theme I can possibly find, it has to be fast.
I want to migrate my blog from a different platform and thought I’d give WordPress another shot because it seems it’s the most used option even in 2022.

For a news/blog site, [GeneratePress]) hands down. It’s lightning fast and zero bloat.
I would encourage you to take a look at GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks. I have been running the combination on several sites for the past 2 years and am extremely happy after ripping out Avada. Very tiny CSS footprint.
