First locally then live?

[ad_1]

Is it recommend to first develop a page locally and then go live? I’m just afraid that I’ve to do all the work from new since I know some have migration problems (WPML gives me a headache).

I did a backup (did cancel my old host as the ram was too low and so functions of the page didn’t work) but this backup isn’t working anymore it’s all faulty and I’ve to begin from zero again. I just don’t want to start over again a third time.

Thank you for your answers 🙂

  1. Yes. It’s good to have a staging site either locally or remote.

I’d suggest you backup the site using 2-3 methods just in case the first backup didn’t succeed.
