Does WordPress not offer a free version anymore? I created an account at the .com site and in order to actually create a page, I need to pay for a plan. I went to the .org site thinking I’d made a mistake and there they ask you to choose a hosting site. Am I missing something or have they done away with the free option?

WordPress.org is the free version but you need to host it somewhere.
