I work for a Software conpany that develops custom software for medium to large businesses.
I was brainstorming with our director of sales on better ways to reach our target customers.
We got this idea that our since our company can whip up professional websites (typically WordPress) in about a quarter of the time that most Agencies can.
We were contemplating actually building sites for companies and offering it to them for free and get them working with us in some capacity; in this case a basic monthly retainer for the site.
Our main product is much more expensive proprietary custom software. So the website is complimentary whether they get custom software built by us or not.
I’m looking good some feedback from business owners.
My question is would you feel like your businesses arm is being twisted in this situation.
Meaning how would you feel if a company did some research on your business, built and approached you with a high quality professional wordpress website.
Would you feel your hand is being forced?
