My company is currently enduring one of these shake down law suits. There is currently a bill in congress waiting to be passed, that would help ALL small business owners from this extortion by unscrupulous lawyers and serial litigants, who simply have found a loop hold in the law and are using that to extort as much money out of us. We need to put a stop to this!. I am hoping that this petition will garner enough support that I will be able to forward it to Re. Calavert who introduce this bill and to the House Judiciary comittee who need to act on this bill. I am also hoping to draw media attention to this.
