Frontend filter to display only certain blocks/classes?

Hey all, I was wondering if there are any good plugins to create filters that the user can interact with. What I'm trying to do is have a bunch of group blocks that display records for different sports at a school, but I want a filter at the top where the user can select a sport and then only those blocks are displayed. Is there a plugin or feature that does this, or is it something you have to code on your own? Thanks!
