[ad_1]

Yes I read the been hacked.

Ok. Long story short. I had to wipe my PC and lost all my passwords, including to my website. I tried to remember what it was, and after the second try, I get redirect to [127.0.0.1]) (using firefox)

Chrome doesnt even give me the login option, both website and wp-admin take me to 127.

even EDGE wont get me there.

\- I tried to get to the website on my iPad, and I’m getting 127 there as well.

I have hostgator, I can login there. I saw on google it might be a corruption in my [.] file. I located that, and there is nothing on that file.

website is [7poundbag.com]) \- any help is appreciated.

  1. In your HostGator, you should have a file manager where you can see wp-content/plugins and wp-content/mu-plugins. This should give you and idea of the plugins installed. You probably have a security plugin that has created this redirect. If you rename that directory it will disable that plugin and you should be able to log in.

  2. [127.0.0.1]) is a localhost address that loops back to the current device. Are you being redirected to [127.0.0.1]) for all websites? If yes and it’s occurring across multiple devices on the same network, it’s possible that the router may have been compromised.

Assuming that the router is affected, have you attempted to access your website over another channel such as mobile broadband? Do you experience the same issue?

The site’s accessible from this side of the fence.
