Google-map integration into a website: potential legal issue only in the European Union or everywhere eles too!?
Since the use of Google Maps can potentially transfer data to a third country without an adequacy decision, processing requires the user’s consent (Art. 49(1) a GDPR), whereby the risks of data transfer must be pointed out so that the user can make a well-informed decision.
**Question:** is the Google-Map integation (for example to a wordpress-site) a special issue – for the countries in The European Union or is it a problem on the whole world …. eg .out side the European Union too!?
